Hello lovely blogreaders!
I'm back from four days Paris and it was AMAZING, so happy that I've finally visited the city of love! I went to Paris with my cousin Marlieke and we travelled together by Thalys from Rotterdam to Paris. We arrived around 1.00 pm at Gare du Nord. In this post you will find a selection of the photos I made at my citytrip to Paris. I made in total 384 photos with my Canon EOS 500D and also some pictures with my mobile phone.
Diary
Friday 3th of February: At Friday we arrived at Paris and checked in into our hotel and after we did that we went directly to the Eiffel tower with the metro. We took the elevator to the top of the tower and got an amazing view over the city! 280 meters high!
Saturday 4th of February: Shopping day at Avenue Des Champs-Élysées and Forum Des Halles. There will be a little shoplog online this week. We saw the Arc de Triomph and Place de la Concorde. We also saw a church called: Eglise Saint-Eustache. After our shopping day we went back to the Eiffel tower to see it when it was dark outside and the lights were on.
Sunday 5th of February: Today we visited Musée du Louvre to see the famous painting Mona Lisa and others. It was snowing this day so we got snowy pictures haha. After we visited Musée du Louvre we went straight through the gardens of Palais Royal, saw the beautiful architecture of the Opéra and then visited the Notre Dame. I also saw the famous Moulin Rouge by 'night'! I love the movie so I had to visit it of course!
Monday 6th of February: On Monday, our last day in Paris we visited the Sacré Coeur with it's beautiful view on the city, Montmartre, the cemetery of Père Lachaise and we went back to Avenue the Champs Des Champs-Élysées, to see the shops we haven't saw yet.
